Evie Archenhold  bravely opened the show with some of her own brilliant and extremely catchy self penned songs, plus a couple of choice covers.Particularly good was her rendition of Bob Dylan’s ” To Bring You my Love.” We’re looking forward to releasing a couple of  Evie’s  catchy pop songs on our next album, Sound Cycle 2- Warp – New Music from The Borders.

Xenia Garden then played a sublime set of songs she arranged herself and transcribed for the harp, no mean feat.Particularly arresting was a cover of  Tom Mish’s  via Patrick Watson ‘s   “Man Like You”.Both Xenia and Evie are recording with Sound Cycle this year. We’re  pretty excited to have them onboard  and sure your bound to love the results.

Evie’s music style is not limited to one genre, she draws inspiration from a variety of artists. Her own songs are inspired by growing up in today’s society, and we are delighted that she is joining us for the event.
