THE SCOTTISH CHAMBER ORCHESTRA WANT TO HEAR FROM YOUNG PEOPLE – FILL OUT THE SURVEY BELOW TO WIN TICKETS TO A CONCERT OF YOUR CHOICE.
A message from the Chamber Orchestra’s Youth Intern,Georgia Vullinghs:
The Scottish Chamber Orchestra, one of Scotland’s five National Performing companies, is reviewing how they engage with young people across Scotland. As part of this I am doing some research into their youth audience, people aged 16-25. We are hoping to reach out beyond our traditional audience. I thought contacting people through your organisation might help us do that. I have compiled a survey and would be grateful if you could pass it on to your members. This is a great opportunity for them to express their opinions about the Scottish Chamber Orchestra (including having no idea who we are and what we are about!), share their experiences, and help shape the future of the SCO. They will also have the chance to be entered into a prize draw to win tickets to see an SCO concert of their choice.
This survey is designed for anyone aged 16-25 to answer, no previous engagement with, or even knowledge of the SCO necessary. You can access it here https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/FV2MQND. The survey will close on the 5th of May.
If anyone would like to share their opinions with us but the survey is not the best method of communication for them, do not hesitate to get in touch and we can find a better way to hear what they have to say.
I am also looking to hold some focus groups to have more of a conversation with people across Scotland. Is this something you might be willing to collaborate on? Are there people in your organisation who would be interested to take part?
Do ask if you have any questions.
